Liposuction and Body Contouring
Breast reduction – An insurance covered procedure that reduces breast size and sagginess for the treatment of neck, back and shoulder pain, tension headaches, bra strap grooving, rashes, and interference with physical activity.
Breast lift (Mastopexy) – A cosmetic surgery to address the sagginess of the breast that develops after aging, pregnancy and weight loss.
Breast augmentation – A cosmetic surgery to enhance the size and shape of the breasts. Typically performed with breast implants or fat grafting.
Fat grafting – A reconstructive procedure to help correct contour deformities after lumpectomy or breast reconstruction. Also used in cosmetic surgery for enhancement of the upper pole of the breast.
Reconstructions – For the treatment of breast cancer post lumpectomy or mastectomy. Typical surgeries include implant-based reconstruction, symmetry procedures, or fat grafting for lumpectomy defects.
Male breast (Gynecomastia) – Surgery to address male breast tissue by direct excision and/or liposuction. Sometimes covered by insurance for pain or other symptoms.
Upper and lower eyelids (Blepharoplasty) – A procedure to address the excess skin of the upper eyelid or undereye bags. Sometimes covered by insurance for vision impairment with upward gaze.
Ears (Otoplasty) – A surgical procedure to adjust the shape, symmetry or position of the ears. Setback otoplasty addresses prominent ears.
Skin cancer reconstruction – Excision and reconstruction of common skin cancers found throughout the face and body.
Facelift – A cosmetic procedure to address facial aging including jowling, fat atrophy, and wrinkles. Fat grafting is often used in conjunction with a facelift for a more youthful appearance.
Cleft lip – A surgical procedure to address the congenital deformity of cleft lip. Typically performed on 3-6 month old infants. Often done in conjunction with a cleft rhinoplasty to address any nasal deformity.
Cleft palate – A surgical procedure to address the congenital deformity of the hard or soft palate. Typically performed on 10-12 month old infants.
Tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty) – A cosmetic procedure to address the excess skin of the abdomen. Liposuction and diastasis recti repair (separation of the abdominal muscles) are frequently performed.
Liposuction – A cosmetic procedure to address areas of excess fat in the abdomen, flanks, trunk and thighs. Commonly performed in conjunction with tummy tucks, breast surgeries and fat grafting.
Body contouring after weight loss – A tummy tuck after weight loss (panniculectomy) that is typically covered by insurance for those with excess abdominal skin and who have back pain, rashes, interference with physical, sexual or urinary function. We also perform arm lifts (brachioplasty) and thigh lifts after weight loss; however, insurance companies consider this cosmetic and do not cover them.
Arm lift (brachioplasty) – A cosmetic procedure to remove excess skin of the upper arms and axilla.
Thigh lift – A cosmetic procedure to remove excess skin of the upper thighs.
