About Us
A Third-Generation Plastic Surgery Practice
Lamb Plastic Surgery has served patients in Fargo, Grand Forks, and surrounding communities for more than 60 years. Founded in 1963, the practice has built a long-standing reputation for providing both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in a professional and private setting.
Today the practice is led by Dr. Patrick W. Lamb, a double-board-certified plastic surgeon and general surgeon who continues a family tradition that spans three generations. Lamb Plastic Surgery was established by his grandfather, Dr. Donald L. Lamb, who trained in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and became North Dakota’s first plastic surgeon. Dr. Lamb also founded the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic serving Fargo and Grand Forks, which continues to care for patients today.
Dr. Lamb’s father, Dr. Donald R. Lamb, joined the practice in 1991 after completing his plastic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and served patients in the region for more than three decades. Today, Dr. Patrick W. Lamb carries forward this legacy while bringing modern surgical training and techniques to the practice.
Patients choose Lamb Plastic Surgery for its unique combination of surgical expertise, personalized care, and a discreet environment where patient comfort and privacy are prioritized. Unlike many cosmetic surgery practices, Lamb Plastic Surgery cares for both insurance-based reconstructive patients and cosmetic surgery patients seeking elective procedures, allowing the clinic to treat a wide range of medical and aesthetic needs.

A Personalized Plastic Surgery Team
Lamb Plastic Surgery operates with a small, highly trained clinical team, allowing patients to receive attentive and personalized care throughout their surgical experience.
Unlike larger medical facilities, the clinic offers a private and discreet environment where patients can feel comfortable discussing personal concerns and treatment goals.
Every member of the team has a healthcare background, which means patients are supported by experienced medical professionals from their first phone call through consultation, surgery, and recovery.
Patients benefit from:
- A small and attentive care team
- Direct access to experienced medical professionals
- A private clinical setting
- Personalized consultation and treatment planning
This patient-focused approach allows the team to deliver care that is both medically precise and supportive of each individual’s goals.
